Ehsaas Amdan Program 2023

The Ehsaas Amdan program is an important step of the government of Pakistan for the financial support to the poor and deserving people. The main purpose of the Ehsas Amdan Asset Transfer Program is to create livelihoods and employment opportunities. This programme provides assets to the deserving individuals to lift them out of poverty. The assets transferred under the program includes livestock (goats, cows, buffaloes and poultry), agricultural equipment, chingchi rickshaw body, equipment for small shopkeepers and small businesses. The budget of this program is Rs. 15 billion.

The Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) is a key implementing agency for the Ehsas Income Program, working through partner organizations (POs) in selected districts. Community institutions already exist at the village level. Once the asset type is identified, the local village level organization, in collaboration with PPAF’s partner organizations, purchases assets locally and Distributes to the families. The PPAF will ensure transparency in the procurement process, identification, selection and procurement of all assets and professional skills training. The beneficiaries who need vocational training are assisted to participate in courses offered by reputable training institutes. The eligible family members receive training in asset use and business planning. You can also use Ehsaas Tracking system to identify your eligibility status for Rs. 7000 for monthly salary.

All the households (Families) benefiting from the Government of Pakistan’s Ehsaas Kafalat Program are provided opportunities through the Government’s Social Security Registry and various programmes to get out of the cycle of poverty, including asset transfer, vocational training and interest-free loan scheme. ۔

To assists in the development of livelihood investment plans for the identified households (through the default process) under which the household members have existing skills, resources, in their business / income generating activities. The assets and potential resources required for growth are identified. Your NSER survey must be completed for your eligibility.

The Ehsaas Program PPAF tracks the eligible households on a regular basis and data will be available to the kafalat program to update its registry on an annual basis.

Targets of Ehsaas Amdan:

• Expected number of beneficiaries
• Ehsas Income Program has been launched in 375 rural union councils of 23 poorest districts in all four provinces of Pakistan.
• 2,00,000 households (whose poverty score card reading (18-0) will acquire productive assets or professional skills.
• 60% of the beneficiaries will be women.
• 30% of the beneficiaries will be young.
• 221,926 interest free loans will be provided.

• The beneficiaries of the Ehsaas Amdan program can get interest free loans if they are available in the area and believe that they need financial support to grow the business.

Amdan Program Competition Timelines:

The implementation of admen program began in February 2020. This is a four year program that will end in 2023.
